My Life

There were moments when i felt alone
There were moments when all were gone...
When I had no clue..
To why my mind was so blue...

I had to step ahead..
Come out of my shell..
Being safe at home..
Never thought the world out could be a swell..

But all that pomp and show..
was not the cup of tea for me..
I had always been..
The one whose only best friend was me..

Was there a happier life..
I always thought..
Content in my own little world..
Never expected anything more than what i got..

Phases of life i went through..
I recall them all as time flew..
With memories so harsh and sad..
Sprinkled with some moments of joy..

Came in the day..
When i met my LIFE for which i always pray..
May there be a reason for all to live
As i have, May to all, God give..

My life was never the same..
For any sorrow or pain..
I got the courage to go through..
As you held my hand....My Life
I realised the true bliss
that till now i had missed...
