I enjoy making cakes.. Everyone does right? But some times the lazy devil overpowers the active angel within you.. and end up in thinking.. "who ll make it".. "its so messy".. But simple ideas could make it easier i think :)..
There are so many exciting new ways to make cakes.. and experiment with making all kinds of cakes..
Cakes i have made so far... Choco-lava cake, strawberry choco cake, apple-cinnamon cake, brownie..
making cake mixture is like really easy if u have a simple hand blender ( dont even need an automatic one).. Seive the self raising flour, baking soda, n Sugar powder (if not using milkmaid) and heaps of cocoa powder if making chocolate cake.. and separately blend oil and egg ( or oil and milkmaid for eggless cakes).. and then blend everything together.. the quantity depends on how big the cake u want :).. just remember that the consistency of the mixture should be like a thick paste, test its perfection by making a drop float on water.. n thats quite perfect..
The simple ways to make different types of cakes is.. add in something new..and name it accordingly!
Choco-lava cake- Put half the batter prepared in the cake pan prepared with buttering n sprinkling flour on it, then put in slabs of dark chocolate.. (or bournville ;)), then pour the rest of the batter over it. Bake it in a pre-heated oven as we all say.. till the tooth-pick or the knife comes out clean after poking it in.. :)
Serve it hot with the chocolate pouring out of it :).. can serve it with ice cream too.. :)

cocoa powder..
unsalted butter,
sugar and water...
Melt a lump of butter in a pan.. add cocoa powder and sugar.. stir it up till everything mixes well..
add little bit of water and stir again.. Tada!!! its ready to be poured over just any dessert!
