Festival of colours

This time my whole family decided to go out for a trip to celebrate Holi.. We went to a nearby hill station Amarkantak by road.. its around 3-4 hours journey from my place.You can view the details of the place here.

The serene beauty of the place stole our hearts.. The peacefulness and the calm environment there is certainly a treat for people who come from a crowded busy city life..

We played holi after the long day of sight seeing around the place..
The guest houses there are all vegetarian with 'saatvic bhojan' that is served to all.. As its a religious place.. with a Buddha Temple still under construction. Its a town in which people following Jain culture predominate.
